:( doesn't seem like it. There haven't even been a lot of crazy Americans here lately. I guess bluegrass bass playing is a pretty small niche. And because there are so few of us, we're all busy filling in on gigs!

Yup, sounds about right.

Not a Canuck, but I enjoy visiting. Was in Montreal last spring. Planning to go back and also visit Quebec this summer.

The bluegrass/ old timey scene up here seems to be making a come back.. it seems like a lot if folks are just plain getting tired of cookie cutter main stream music garbage and are looking for something different. Our (Athabasca Barnburner) debut album called "I Hope You're Happy" is selling like crazy and the summer is getting booked up fast for shows.
